A Note from Joshua,

I was raised by the system. My grandma eventually adopted me. I was a bad kid with good intentions ...raised hell, became a small-town rockstar, traveled the country, and eventually got tripped up by addiction. The Lord found me somewhere in the middle of that mess. I got kicked out of a church and got plugged into recovery instead. That's the short version of how I got here.

Somewhere along the way, I noticed something most adults quietly know and don't say out loud: we don't really make new friends anymore. Not the real kind. Not the "sit on a porch, smoke something good, and talk about life until midnight" kind.

Work, family, responsibilities ...they eat the calendar, and the deeper conversations go with them. The dumb jokes. The shared rituals. Cigars used to be the one place I could slow down and actually connect with someone. Problem was, I was usually smoking alone.

So I built a Discord, hoping I wasn't the only one who wanted this. Not a chat server...a virtual lounge. A place where the ashtray's always warm and the door's always open. For the person with no local lounge. For the person who has one and still wants more. For anyone whose life has gotten loud, fast, or heavy.

We run a 24/7 general chat, but the thing that's surprised me most is Tuesday and Thursday live meetups. Somehow, total strangers end up talking like old friends... about cigars, sure, but also marriage, anxiety, work stress, wins and losses. The stuff most of us don't usually let ourselves say out loud.

If any of that sounds familiar...if you've ever thought man, I miss having people to just hang with...you're welcome in our little corner of the internet. No pressure. No sales pitch. No ego. Just camaraderie, good cigars, and a bunch of people trying to slow down and live a little more intentionally.

Light Up & Lean In.
