We partner with a boutique factory in Nicaragua... small-batch by choice, not by limitation... that has been named Small/Medium Factory of the Year by the industry's own trade press four times. That's not a fluke.
Our cigars are entrusted to skilled torcedores who practice time-honored Cuban-style techniques, finishing each cigar with a triple cap, entubado bunching, a dense, deliberate pack, and the refined construction required for an effortless draw.
Even our boxes earn their keep. Spanish cedar, because cigar smokers have known for a hundred years that the wood does more than hold the thing ...it keeps working on the tobacco long after it leaves the factory. Full-color press on the inside and outside. Brass hinges that'll outlast the cigars twice over. Bovedas in every box.

Porchlight
Ecuadorian Corojo
In the early years of recovery, Joshua spent a lot of time on patios with friends. He wanted to create a cigar he could smoke back-to-back so the late nights and good conversation would also burn true.
Medium Strength | Medium Body | Rich, Balanced, Cuban-esquee
W: Ecuadorian Corojo B: Nicaraguan F: Nicaraguan & Dominican
Construction: premium: triple cap, minimal veins, nearly invisible seams, dense pack but ideal draw.
1st Puffs: pepper and spice forward, more on the tongue than the retro. Strong flavors but in a good way. Again, it’s a round profile: pepper and spice balanced by a dried fruit sweetness with a smooth delivery.
1st 3rd
Spice/pepper dissipates, quickly, leaving just a nice little zing the retro. The note on top is now definitely floral. It tastes/smells like the essence of a faintly floral perfume.
Halfway point:
I like this cigar! These are my favorite notes: dried fruit sweetness, floral, and a bit of spice.
Final 3rd:
The song continues, the harmony is perfect. Simple, three-part. Smooth. Interesting but not demanding. Clean finish.
Construction: perfect draw, clean burn, good smoke output.
An hour in and I am wowed by this cigar. The floral note and dried fruit sweetness are playing nicely, both sharing the mic, equally. The retro spice zing is still doing its thing.
I’ll just enjoy this down to the nub.
Stunning and sublime. Beautiful wrapper, no visible seams or veins, well packed.
Corojo sweetness & twang in spades from the jump & throughout. Reminiscent of a Partagas Corona Senor ("cubanesque"). Coffee, nutty and touch of spice. Burn is dead nuts, mascara line is dark & razor thin. Nice slow burn, taking a good two minutes between draws (discipline pays off handsomely). So smooth & rich. Aroma off the foot is lovely leather. Woody notes & dark stewed fruit appear in the final third but the Corojo twang decisively leads the way.
Medium strength & med-full body and flavor.

Back Booth
Mexican San Andrés
Joshua’s grandma owned a dive bar in Old East Dallas in the 1990s where she reserved a back booth for her regulars. This one is for the seasoned cigar smokers who know a thing or two about a good stick.

Prelight:
Construction: premium, triple cap, minimal large veins, nearly invisible seams. Dense pack, excellent draw. No aroma off the wrapper but dark fruit sweetness off the ends
1st Puffs: 1st puff tells me I’m going to like this stick. It’s round! The profile is round (umami???): balanced, relatively short finish, clean. Am getting dark wood, walnut lumber fresh out of the mill (not burning wood) with dark fruit (maybe raisins) behind it. A nice muted note of baking spice on the finish mixed with a little pepper zing on the retro.
An inch in and I like this cigar.
Construction: good smoke output, wavy but tight burn line with mascara edge. Great draw, solid ash, stacking dimes.
Nearing halfway point and the profile retains the same mix of lumber and fruit with a baking spice and pepper zing finish. The wood note has picked up cedar tones and the raisin note has dropped from the party.
Flavor-wise I’d put this at medium bold, strength, medium.
Final 3rd:
Spending more time enjoying rather than note taking. I really like this cigar. The profile remains round, balanced, clean and engaging. The individual notes have blurred lines; they’ve melded into a nice, slightly sweet, slightly woodsy, slightly baking spice note with the pepper zing retro finish.
Final puffs and overview.
An hour in. The spice component has moved to the forefront, lumber and sweetness are still playing as well as the retro zing. A nice finish to this cigar smoking experience. I’d smoke this in the morning but probably would make this a nightcap stick.

Another winner!
Dark chocolate colored wrapper. Firm from to the foot.
1st-3rd: First puff got a licorice note on the retro and pepper spice on the sides of my tongue. Burn is razor sharp. Baking chocolate. Unsweetened espresso. Smoke output is voluminous, coats the mouth very nicely. Not getting much spice on the retro, but feel it on the sides of my tongue. Very familiar flavor from one of the tobaccos. Just not sure what flavor it is. I know I like it though. About 3/4 into the first third the pepper spice is showing itself on the retro.
2nd-3rd: Ash fell on its own into the 2nd. The familiar note is coming out a bit more now. Has a drying effect on my palate. A nice citrus burst on the retro. Stone fruit. Baking spices? Bitter coffee.
Final 3rd: New note came in on the retro, dark cherry. Still a very sharp burn line and great smoke output. Coats the mouth nicely, it’s a chewy smoke. Baking spices are a little more forward in this final third. Little bit of bitterness, could be smoking a little too fast. I slowed down my puff rate and it came back to zero bitterness.
I put it down at this point instead of relighting. Overall it was a very good cigar. It would be a cigar I would not have a problem recommending. I could see it in my rotation. I would recommend this to the more advanced smoker due to the body and intensity.
No sugar-coating. No tushie rubbing.
