Joshua & Kaitlyn Stephens started Brolo Cigars as a husband-and-wife duo out of Texas with a simple belief: some things are better when they take time.
We didn’t start with a business plan. It started with people; men and women who knew what it felt like to carry weight, to walk through fire, to laugh until it hurt, and to sit with a cigar long after the world went quiet.
The name itself is a fuse:
BROther + LOve.
Not the soft, Hallmark kind...
the real kind.
The kind built on scars, loyalty, belly laughs, and the unspoken understanding that life gets messy and we don’t have to walk it alone.
For years, cigars were our meeting place.
Not the fancy lounge, not the curated Instagram shelf, the back porch, the garage, the driveway after midnight. Places where people could finally drop the front and just be human for a minute.
We learned that a cigar is more than a smoke.
It’s a pace-setter.
A truth-teller.
A ritual that slows the heartbeat back down and opens up room for stories that never show up in the daylight.
Brolo was born from that space.
A belief that craftsmanship matters, not because it’s trendy, but because the people you share it with matter.
A belief that slowing down is an act of survival in a world addicted to hurry.
A belief that brotherly love isn’t sentimental,
it’s a lifeline.
So we work with the hands that have shaped tobacco for generations.
We honor the leaf, the labor, and the legacy.
We build blends with intention, not ego.
And every cigar we release carries a piece of the story we came from, and the stories still waiting to be told.
Brolo isn’t about being the coolest or the most exclusive. It’s about creating a place where anyone who needs a breath, a laugh, or a moment of honesty can step in, light up, and feel like they belong.
A slow burn.
A steady rhythm.
A reminder that we’re made for connection.
Welcome to Brolo,
Light up & Lean In.
